Paula Amy Hewitt

Ms. Hewitt is a director of Caldwell Investment Management Ltd.. She has 20 years of broad experience gained through a career in private practice at law firms, and in executive roles within Canadian and Multinational financial services companies and public companies, including General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Privacy Officer, Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer, and Head of Insurance Compliance. Paula has a proven track record of bridging traditional financial services, capital markets, and risk underwriting with emerging and highly regulated industries through a unique combination of legal, compliance, anti-money laundering, risk management and operational experience. In addition to her Juris Doctor, Paula holds a BA in Psychology from McGill University and several additional designations: CRM, CIPM, CIPP/C, and CIPT. Driven to make a positive change in the world, Paula has contributed to industry groups including sitting on IIROC’s Ontario District Counsel, the IIAC’s Derivatives Committee, and the IAPP Canada Advisory Board. Paula also sits on the Board of Governors and Regional Board of Directors for Ontario of Portage Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Centres.
