Commentary from our Partners at Lazard: Global Inflation Outlook Following the Iran Conflict

In their latest report, Lazard Asset Management explains that the Iran conflict has significantly worsened the global inflation outlook for 2026, with higher and uneven inflation across regions driven by energy and supply disruptions. The report outlines multiple scenarios showing that the scale and duration of these disruptions will determine the ultimate economic impact, while noting that an initial inflation spike could eventually give way to lower inflation if the shock triggers a broader recession.

Lazard Asset Management serves as the Portfolio Manager of the Caldwell-Lazard CorePlus Infrastructure Fund.
